About Gregory.
The vivid colours of the hinterland at sunset or the perfect light dancing on the ocean at sunrise. This is what inspires my endless search to capture nature’s awe inspiring beauty. A photographic journey that I seek to share through my fine art prints.
My art inspired portfolio reflects my life long passion with the ocean and its coastline. Each fine art print is a visual story that creatively frames the wonder of nature. My collections are carefully curated to decorate your walls and bring a sense of travel, awe and adventure into your home. On occasions I am lucky to be accompanied by Zoe my border collie who loves joining me on my journeys.
What makes a fine art print.
The creative process begins with the excitement of discovery, a location that still has a story to tell, or a new composition or photographic angle that inspires my artistic curiosity.
From then on it becomes all consuming, requiring numerous visits and trial images to try and capture the unique feel and beauty . Chasing the light at dawn and dusk and everything in between. Every print is ultimately an expression of my artistic sense for the location and its visual story.
My signature on all prints symbolises my direct involvement in the creation of the artwork and assure every buyer that their print is coming directly from the photographer.
Framing finishing touches
If you have chosen to have your artwork framed the print will be custom framed to archival museum quality. Each frame is custom made to order in Australia using sustainably sourced timber frame mouldings.
A white premium bevel-cut mat border will protect and enhance your artwork’s presentation. To protect the framed art from dust and damage we use acrylic (instead of traditional glass) due to its lighter weight, strength and level of clarity.
