Aquamarine

Rainbow Bay, Australia.

For most people, looking out across an ocean can be a calming and meditative experience. That said, the experience felt by someone surfing a perfectly breaking wave in a translucent aquamarine ocean is quite similar. I look at this photograph in print form repeatedly during the day, and for a moment I am immersed in the sounds and surf at Rainbow Bay.
