The Solitary Isles are a group of nine rocky islands off the coast of Coffs Harbour where the warm waters of the East Australian Current meet cooler waters from the south. Established as a marine park, it is a unique and important environment for diversity. It is home to many species of reef fish, hard coral, molluscs, anemone, turtles, marine snails and a recorded breeding site for cuttlefish.
