Sydney is blessed with many photographic vantage points to capture the old and the new and Observatory Hill is a fine example of this. I particularly enjoy how the 1800's residence anchors the foreground as your eye is led down a tree lined street to the Harbour Bridge and finally to the modern high-rise building in the distance. It's almost a visual journey in time, the monochrome format adding an element of timelessness."
