Hinterland

Byron Bay, Australia.

During a late afternoon drive through the hinterland area of Byron Bay, I came across an old house that had seen better days. With its lone palm tree in the backyard and air of abandonment, in my mind it told a story of a dream long gone. As the sun's final rays of light illuminated the dilapidated roof and weatherboards, I pressed the shutter. Walking back to my car, I could not help but wonder on the story of the house and the people that had lived there.
