Storm Swell

Coalcliff, Australia.

In May 2020 the first of several massive low pressure systems drove 10 metre swells towards Sydney's coastline. I decided to take the 30 minute drive down the coast to Coalcliff, where I knew I could photograph the waves as they met head-on with the rocky shores. I was not disappointed, the power and sound as they crashed into the shoreline was electrifying and I was fortunate to capture a remarkable spectacle
